2020 Bond - $300 Million - Guilford County Schools2020 Bond - $300 Million - Guilford County Schools Projects to include: - Rebuild Claxton Elementary (Greensboro) - Estimated budget: $31,333,469 As of December 2, 2021, The Guilford County Board of Commissioners has voted to put the bond referendum on the March 8, 2022 ballot. Bidding for designer, contractor, and a timeline for construction start date has not been determined. Also, $300 million dollars has been allocated to the Guilford County Schools, but specific project costs have not been released. As of July 19, 2022, a joint venture team of project managers has been confirmed. Construction is expected to commence fall 2022. As of July 22, 2022, an awarded construction manager has been indentified and construction is expected to start late fall/ early winter 2022.
