Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of improvements to pedestrian facilities at up ove 200 locations throughout the City of Rochester. The improvements will be implemented at both signalized intersections and uncontrolled crosswalks. At signalized intersections, improvements willl include the addition of backplates that meet current standards, introduction of leading pedestrian intervals (LPI), and enhanced corsswalk striping. At the uncontrolled crosswalks, improvements will include installing the 'basic package' of signs and pavement markings (as needed) as shown in th estatewide PSAP details. Other work involves enhanced treatments that include the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), raised table crosswalks, and curb bumpouts. This is a Locally Administered Federal Aid Project and contains Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Utilization Goals. This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required, - Prevailing Wage Required, - Certified Payroll Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond- 5 %, - Performance Bond- 100 %, - Labor and Materials Bond- 100 % Amendments to the Contract Documents can only be accomplished by means of addenda issued by the City Engineer.
