Site work and paving for a civil project in Lees Summit, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of March 31, 2022, information regarding award and award date has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to Fiscal Year 2025-2026 *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Kansas City, in coordination with the city of Lee's Summit, intends to rehabilitate Lees Summit Road from Gregory Blvd to Lakewood Blvd.In addition to rehabilitating/ replacing the roadway pavement, the project will include reduction in any sight-distance concerns or possible safety issues. This project is categorized as a rehabilitation project and as such, when completed, the roadway will retain the open drainage ditches along the road. An enclosed storm sewer system is not currently part of the project scope. The City of Kansas City, Missouri desires that Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) have a maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of City contracts. The goals for this specific project are 15%MBE participation and 10% WBE participation.You must complete HRD Form 13 Affidavit of Intended Utilization and return it with your Proposal. Forward all questions in writing to the following Project Manager and Contract Administrator. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the Submittal Date may not be answered. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Project Manager in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all Proposers.
