The proposed work generally consists of the following: Replacement of approximately 76 water services Installation of approximately 215 Lin.Ft. of 6 waterline Installation of approximately 4168 Lin.Ft. of 8 waterline Owner has no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of any bid documents obtained from any source other than the source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued. Bidders must be a licensed contractor with the City of Springfield, Ohio prior to award of contract. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Said work shall be subject to the prevailing rate of wages as established by the State Wage Determination requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received whenever the best interest of the City will be served.
