The City of Hot Springs invites bids to perform the Scope of Work / Specifications as described in the attached documents for the City's project -- provide labor and materials to paint the exteriors of Central Fire Station, 310 Broadway, and Lakeshore Fire Station, 220 Lakeshore, Hot Springs, AR. In submitting your bid it is essential that you adhere to the requirements and instructions contained herein. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or irregularities. The City also reserves the right to require additional information of bidders in order to determine responsibility. Questions must be submitted prior to one week before the bid opening date shown above. The specifications included hereinafter are to be interpreted as meaning the minimum acceptable by the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as determined by the City, to award the bid by item or groups of items or in total, and/or to award the bid in the manner most advantageous to the City. The City reserves the right to purchase additional units at its discretion, within a reasonable time, at the bid unit price, upon the concurrence of the Bidder. All qualified and responsible bidders are entitled to receive equal opportunities. Any activity such as, but not limited to, offering or receiving gifts, entertainment, payments, loans, or other favors for the purpose of favorable or privileged treatment is prohibited. Furthermore, in the event any bidder has been found to engage in such activity, that bidder may be refused further bid consideration by the City. The City may also pursue any legal remedies available
