Renovation of an educational facility in Corvallis, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.
As of April 17, 2023 an Architect and Construction Manager has already been awarded. Bid Package A for this project was just recently bid in March of this year, 2023. A construction timeline is yet to be determined. Renovation of the second and third floors of Gilkey Hall (the "Project") to upgrade accessibility, seismic strengthening, roof replacement and a new home for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). This project will renovate the 2nd and 3rd floors of Gilkey Hall for use by OSU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). The work will upgrade the building to meet current codes and OSU Design and Construction Standards, and will include upgrades to fire and life safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building envelope and seismic systems, will reconfigure spaces to accommodate the needs of CAPS, and will install a new elevator. Exterior work will include changes to the site south of the building to provide a second accessible entry. The 2nd and 3rd floors will be unoccupied during construction. There may be some occupants in the building on the 1st floor during construction.
