Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.
The scope of this project includes removing existing first floor elevated concrete slab and providing additional steel beam reinforcing to the floor structure to support owner-provided pipe structures and owner-provided rails which supports an owner-provided testing steel tower structure. Welded bar grating is used as a replacement flooring for the removed concrete slab. This Contract begins on March 22, 2021 or its effective date, and ends on July 22, 2021 Deadline for Questions: March 10, 2021, 2:00 PM CST All field entries must be alphanumeric. Dashes and underscores are allowed, however the system does not accept other special characters such as apostrophe, & symbol, quotation marks, etc. Offerors will receive an email confirmation from infospo@nd.gov that the upload response was received including the "File Description" for the uploaded files. Review this email to ensure all files were successfully uploaded. If you do not receive an email confirmation, the upload was not successful, and you will need to upload the files again. If you do not receive an email confirmation after the reattempt, contact the Procurement Officer or the State Procurement Office at infospo@nd.gov or 701-328-2740. All questions and requests for clarification regarding this solicitation must be addressed to the Procurement Officer referenced on the cover sheet of this document. The requirements of this solicitation can only be altered by written amendment of the solicitation. Verbal communications from whatever source are of no effect. Questions must be received by the deadline specified on the cover sheet to allow the Procurement Officer to issue any needed amendments in sufficient time before the bid opening date. It is the bidders responsibility to ensure that a bid response is physically deposited with UND prior to the date and time specified for the opening. Late bid responses will not be opened and will be rejected regardless of the degree of lateness or the reason. Offerors must obtain a bid bond and submit it with the proposal. The amount of the bid bond for this contract is 5 Percent of the bid amount. The bid bond will be immediately forfeited to the university in the event an offeror Is selected to receive the contract and fails to negotiate, or fails to deliver a fully executed contract after negotiation. Offerors must obtain a letter of commitment for a performance bond from a bonding company and submit it with the Proposal. The amount of the performance bond must be equal to 100 percent. If attendees do not already have a UND parking permit they should stop by the parking office located in the Facilities Building to purchase a temporary permit for $7 (see section 20 on page 9). If you would like to discuss alternative parking options, such as hourly pay parking, contact Parking Services at 701.777.3551. UND reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part. Bids received from debarred or suspended vendors will be rejected. The procurement office may reject any proposal that is not responsive to all of the material and substantial terms, conditions, and performance requirements of the bid. UND also reserves the right to refrain from making an award if it determines it to be in its best interest.
