Renovation of a financial development in Ellenville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a financial development.

Work includes mobilization, de-watering, clearing and grading and installation of stream restoration practices (i.e., cross vanes, stream barbs, grade control structures, boulder replacement, rock clusters, retaining wall, armoring and rip rap). Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Contract term: 120 days Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Village of Ellenville prior to incorporation into the work of the Contract(s). Funds for this project are being administered by the NYS Governor's Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR). The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the GOSR requirements, included herein as Notice, Instructions, Forms, General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions of Contracts, including specific requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed, reporting/documentation to be maintained and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract(s). Where a contradiction exists between the GOSR requirements (Sections 00030 and 00160.13) and other sections of the specifications, GOSR requirements shall take precedence. Contract No. 01 - Stream restoration work at four (4) sites (Sites1, 2, 5 and 8, per the Contract Drawings). Site work includes mobilization, de-watering, clearing and grading, installation of stream restoration practices (i.e., cross vanes, stream barbs, grade control structures, boulder placement, rock clusters, retaining wall, armoring and rip rap) as noted on the Contract Drawings for each site. Lump sum bid per site is requested. The base bid includes the following sites: Site 1 - West Branch Beer Kill along NYS Route 52 at North Old Greenfield Rd Only reconstruction of the existing retaining wall as shown on the contract drawings is to be included in the bid. The remaining work shown on the Site 1 Restoration Plan is not included in this contract. Site 2 - West Branch Beer Kill adjacent to Old Greenfield Rd at Barbara Rd Bridge Site 5 - West Branch Beer Kill along Old Greenfield Road Site 8 - Sandburg Creek near Roslyn Street Contract No. 01 - Lump sum price for alternate bid items are requested for all stream restoration practice types per the listed items in Section 00100. Alternative bid items may be added to the contact as field modifications, as directed by the Resident Engineer. The Total Bid Price shall be determined by either the Base Bid alone, or the Base Bid in addition to any or all of the Additive Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award any of the Bid Additives and/or Alternates or to reject any and all Bids. At the discretion of the Village of Ellenville, multiple prime contracts may be issued. The Village of Ellenville encourages Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Enterprises, and Section 3 firms to respond. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
