As of 01/14/2022 This project has not been awarded. Bids may be withdrawn in accordance with the Code of Virginia Section 2.2-4330(a) Procedure (1). The Goodview Elementary School Roof Recovering and HVAC System Replacement project generally consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing HVAC systems and roofing for the building(s). The project also includes limited electrical upgrades as necessary to accommodate the new mechanical equipment. The mechanical upgrades include the replacement of approximately 100 water source heat pumps and ventilation air-to-air heat exchangers, new heating water boilers and pumps, new cooling tower and condensing water pumps, new water source heat pump distribution pumps, and new connections to an existing BAS system. The roofing replacement includes the removal and disposal of existing ballast stone, demolition of existing roof membrane and associated edge metal, selective demolition and replacement of wet/damaged insulation, installation of new recovery board, installation of new adhered single ply roof membrane and associated edge metal. The Contract will be awarded on a lump sum base bid. Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a cashiers check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid.
