The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified businesses (Respondents) to provide a up to 100 Bus Shelters, which will be based on the availability of funding. The design should be aesthetically pleasing and fit with the surrounding landscape and architecture. The design shall also utilize only the latest and proven technologies to include but not limited to : Two (2) Sizes 5 X 9 and 5 x 18 Partial Side Walls with open Front and Rear opening Clear Tempered Safety Glass Arched Roof with Aluminum Roof Panels Solar Lighting Package with Roof Mount Solar Panel, Battery, Solar Controller, and LED Light Advertising Display Case Bench with Backrest and Armrest Solar Powered USB Charging Station Trash Receptacle with Lid This scope of work does not include installation, as installation will be undertaken in-house or contracted separately. To facilitate installation, the pre-installation manufactured components will be modular in design.
