Contractor will be required to provide Owner documentation of the use of American Iron and Steel. The Rice Lake Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Utilities. From the information provided by the client, it is understood that the project will include the construction of a new 210-foot tall, 250,000 gallon spherical water storage tank, that will be supported on an approximate 25-foot diameter ringwall foundation. The bearing depth was not provided, but is estimated to be about 5 to 10 feet below ground surface. Structural loads were provided as 2,342 kips for the dead load and snow, and 3,342 foot-kips for the wind load. The project will also include the construction of an approximate 192 square foot booster station building that will be located about 1,100 feet south of the water tower. The booster station building will have a floor slab elevation of about EL. 1195 and will be supported on spread footings bearing at a depth of about 4 feet below ground surface.
