Renovation of a municipal facility in Windsor, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For proposals from qualified proponents to develop one or more turnkey Photovoltaic (PV) roof-top generation system(s) for from one and up to fourteen (14) separate City of Windsor facilities, that will operate based on Net Metering arrangement to reduce the grid electricity costs from those facilities. The design and installation shall conform to all requirements as defined by the applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, and standards. Proponents are required to submit a separate proposal submission for each facility location of interest. The successful Proponent(s) will be totally responsible for the design, installation, documentation, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of the system; all associated costs and expenses; and for the provision of all related services specified. The PV systems will be sized based on the roofs' available space and the electricity consumption of the facilities included in this RFP in compliance with Ontario Regulation 541/05 - Net Metering. Acceptance or rejection of any proposal will be made in accordance with City of Windsor Purchasing By-Law No. 93-2012 and amendments thereto. This procurement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), approved July 1, 2017.
