**As of April 28, 2021, Project was awarded to Roads Inc. award amount $2,854,178.87. The City of Gulf Breeze invites bids for The Gulf Breeze Multi Use Pathway. The project consists of construction services for a Multi-Use Pathway in the City of Gulf Breeze. This project will follow the Covenant to the Community Policy instated by City Council effective January 1, 2021. A copy of the policy will be included and available for download with the bid documents. All prospective bidders are encouraged to obtain and review plans and specifications for this project before the pre-bid so that they are prepared to discuss any questions or concerns they have concerning this project. Participation is required. Interested firms may secure the bid package and all other pertinent information Questions regarding the project should be submitted to Ginny Coady, Procurement and Logistics Officer via email at gcoady@gulfbreezefl.gov, by close of business on March 30, 2021. Responses to those questions considered material to the bid will be made available electronically. All bids shall be received no later than the date and time specified, at which time they will be publicly read aloud in Council Chambers, Gulf Breeze City Hall, at the address listed. Bids may be withdrawn upon written request to the Administrative Services Director at any time prior to the time fixed for opening of bids without prejudice to file a new bid prior to the final deadline for submission of bids. Late proposals will not be accepted, regardless of the reason. The City of Gulf Breeze (i) will award the project to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder; (ii) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any bid informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in the best interest of the City; and (iii) hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status or national origin in consideration for an award.
