Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Perry, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of May 3,2021 the project has not yet been awarded. No estimated time frame yet. The work includes the following: A. Construction of two (2) Lift Stations and meter buildings, nutrient basin, control structures, rapid mix basin and clarifier control structure, two (2) clarifiers, clarifier pump building, UV building, reaeration basin, WAS holding tank, operations building, biosolids loadout, storm water area drain lift station, retaining walls, dump station, and plant outfall piping. B. Rehabilitation and modifications to existing pretreatment building, administration building, aeration basins, digester (blower) building, digesters, and biosolids storage tanks. C. Equipment installation includes submersible and end suction centrifugal pumps, rotary lobe pumps, self-priming pumps, screenings washer/compactor, vortex grit removal and classifier, jet mix, fine bubbler aeration, vertical shaft mixer, suction draw-off clarifier mechanisms, UV disinfection, rotary drum thickener, aeration positive displacement blowers, coarse bubbler aeration, tank covers, emergency diesel powered generator. New electrical and controls systems, piping, valves, gates and precast manhole structures. D. Decommissioning and demolition of existing wastewater treatment facilities, including but not limited to clarifier control structure, two (2) final clarifiers, clarifier pump building, scum manhole, UV channel, effluent lift station, building at biosolids storage tank no. 3, buried debris from decommissioned trickling filter, and various sections of process piping and manholes. Relocate UV building (pole building) to Pattee Park. E. Various trades throughout the project site including, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, painting, and civil site improvements. The City will consider bids at its meeting at 6:00 p.m. on April 19, 2021. The City of Perry reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
