Project Scope includes replacement of corroded equipment and piping, new odor control system at lift station, new septage hauler receiving station, and structural repairs to aeration basins and headworks The project scope of work includes: Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: Demolish the existing odor control system for the Resaca Lift Station. Install a new biological tower-type odor control system in place of the existing system. Demolish, modify, and replace portions of the programmable logic controller (PLC) system in the Resaca Lift Station electrical building. Demolish and replace instrumentation at the Resaca Lift Station. Construct a new septage receiving station north of the Aeration Basins. Demolish the existing septage receiving unloading area. Rehabilitate and replace existing equipment and coat the effluent splitter box channels at the Headworks area. Refer to the 11 series Drawings for detailed requirements. For the Aeration Basins, provide an additional support system for the Aeration Basin No. 4 east wall; install a construction joint sealant system; replace the existing drain system; and inspect and repair/replace the fine-bubble aeration diffuser piping as necessary. Upgrade and reprogram the PLCs for the aeration basins blower control system. Replace the clarifier equipment at Secondary Clarifiers No. 1 and 2. Replace four existing return activated sludge (RAS) pumps. Add drain piping at the Aerated Sludge Basins. Upgrade the generator PLC system.
