Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The work focuses on major upgrades of CLE’s 1950s-era main terminal and concourses, improved ticketing/check-in space and expanded security checkpoint. The program also includes improved roadways, a ground transportation center, an increase in the number of walkable public parking spaces, a consolidated rental car facility, and improved transit system accessibility and convenience. As of February 19, 2026, part of this project has already begun construction. A design group has been selected to design and build the parking garage, which will also include a ground transportation center and a relocated RTA Station, scheduled to open in 2029. A construction contractor is leading the work on the Gold parking lot, which is expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027.
