This bid package includes the full demolition and restoration of the Taggart Hall site as well as the demolition of Vandercook Hall as required for the preparation of the future Center for Virtual Learning facility. Provide breakout pricing as indicated on the bid form. The intent is to solicit one trade partner per scope for all work at both sites. The Owner will fund and contract all abatement and hazardous material removals direct. This project is contracted with Triangle Associates under a CMc agreement whereby Triangle will act as the Owners constructor. Triangle will hold all subcontract agreements. Specialty subcontractors are being solicited at this time for the following bid scopes: 020 Building Demolition 260 Electrical 310 Earthwork and Utilities Bid bonds are required. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check/money order in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bidders base bid. It is required that all subcontractors can furnish payment and performance bonds for this project and that the cost for such bonds is indicated on the proposal form.
