Specifications and other Bid Documents for the above items are on file in the Public Works Department and may be obtained upon request. Each bid must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of cash, a cashier's or certified check made payable to the City of Inglewood, or a bid bond, for an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will, within the time specified, enter into an agreement as provided in the Bid Document and furnish bonds when required in the Special Provisions: one for Faithful Performance in the amount of the Contract Sum, and one for Contractor's Labor and Materials in the amount of the Contract Sum. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to take bids under advisement for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from and after the date bids are opened and announced.
