Site work for a civil project in Rio Rico, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Design-Build Contracts, to utilize the Design-Build contracting procedure for the design and construction of new multi-duct fiber-optic conduit and fiber optic cable, new pull boxes and two new node buildings, on I-19 from the U.S Border to I-10, within Santa Cruz County and Pima County. Department programmed amount for design and construction of this project is $23,000,000 and is being funded through the US Department of Education Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Grant program. The improvements will be operated by Sun Corridor Network and maintained by ADOT, as part of a larger statewide network linking government agencies, education and healthcare facilities. All format requirements, submittal guidelines, instructions and documentation submission contained in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Package are for the ADOT Project and Project Number referenced above. Submittals failing to follow the format, submittal guidelines or any other instructions outlined in this RFQ Package will be rejected. ADOT reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, cancel the advertisement, negotiations or contract at any time in the best interest of the State. The method for determining the Best Value Proposal for this project will take into account the price offering of the Design-Build Proposer and the Technical Proposal Score. Detailed Selection Procedures will be set forth in the RFP Package. Proposers are solely responsible for all costs and expenses of any nature associated with responding to this RFQ including providing supplemental information. ADOT will not reimburse such costs in whole or in part in any circumstance Effective the date of Public Advertisement of this project, no further contact is allowed with ADOT Staff, Santa Cruz County staff, Pima County staff, the San Xavier Indian Reservation, Sun Corridor Network, the US Department of Education, and the General Engineering Consultant. This restriction is in effect until Price Proposals are opened. The questions of an administrative or contractual nature must be submitted in writing as specified in this RFQ Package to Monir Zaman (f0347usborder_i-10@azdot.gov) In order to submit a SOQ, interested Design-Builders must (1) have prequalification with the Department as necessary for the project, and (2) be included on the project Planholders List as a Prime. If the Design-Build Proposer is a consortium, all members shall be prequalified with the Department, as either a contractor or a designer. A member's share of a consortium may not exceed its prequalification limit. Design-Build Proposers that are not prequalified shall submit the prequalification application a minimum of 10 calendar days prior to the submittal of SOQ. Firms proposing as a joint venture shall submit their joint venture application a minimum of 15 calendar days prior to the SOQ due date to the Contracts and Specifications Group..
