Renovation of a residential development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: a. All shingles, felt, roof vents, ventilation boots, nails, & staples are to be removed and hauled away. Roof deck should be swept clean of debris. b. 5 sheets of plywood to be replaced, if necessary, should be factored into your bid. If not used, there is no need to credit CADA back. c. Inspect metal edging. If in good repair you may reuse. If not, the replacement cost should be included in your bid. d. Inspect all step flashing. If in good repair you may reuse. If not, the replacement cost should be included in your bid. e. All bottom edges of roof area and valleys are to receive self-adhering winter guard or leak guard. You may use metal valley if you wish. f. The rest of the roof to receive 30# felt. g. New shingles to be GAF Timberline HDZ or equivalent (Tom Van Syoc, Facilities Manager, to approve shingle equivalent and color.) All shingles to be installed per factory recommendations. h. Install new roof ventilation like the ones removed, new ventilation boots and a Cobra top ridge ventilation with color key top shingle to match the shingles picked. Required Licenses: California Contractor's License C39 or greater; Valid City of Sacramento Business Operation Tax or County of Sacramento Business License. Questions regarding the bid package and contract should be directed to: Tara Gandara - 916-324-2030 | tgandara@cadanet.org This project must begin no later than Monday, April 26 th , 2021 following board approval on Friday, April 16 th , 2021 and MUST BE COMPLETED AND INVOICED NO LATER THAN JUNE 21, 2021. At the time this contract is executed, Contractor shall provide the payment and performance bonds. The performance bond shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract by the Contractor and shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. The award shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, based on the lump sum amount provided on the Bid Proposal Form, provided that all specified bidding requirements have been met. Once the contract has been awarded to a bidder, the successful bidder then has ten (10) calendar days to provide CADA with a signed original contract along with all other required documents. If the above deadline is not adhered to, CADA reserves right to void the award, and award the contract to the next lowest bidder.
