Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the "State") is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firm to provide architectural and engineering design services for the Foundation, Roofs, Barn and Chimneys project at the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site (3780 Route 100A and adjacent Messer Road and Coolidge Memorial Road sites) in Plymouth Notch, Vermont. Interested firms are invited to bid on architectural/engineering design services described in Section 2 of this RFP. The purpose of this project is to obtain Architectural services (including civil and structural engineering services) for buildings and outbuildings at the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth, VT, including cedar shingle roof replacement, siding and window repair planning, brick chimney repairs, roof slate replacement, rot repair of a timber-framed barn, civil and structural repairs to a masonry foundation and associated earthwork, site drainage and seeding, and floor replacement. The scope of services for this project shall include permitting, design development, construction documents, bidding and negotiation, construction administration and additional services.
