Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders. Project consists of interior alteration of approximately 2,617 sf in VMC Main Hospital, Level 2. Scope of work includes demolition of existing areas to make way for a new Angio Procedure room, Control room, Equipment storage and other associated support rooms. One new door into a central Clean Supply and the new Angio Procedure room. Additional (2) cross-corridor doors to be installed to control access of public vs staff zones. Additional enabling Mechanical work outside of the Angio "area of work" to upgrade existing systems on Level 2. The project will not impact the continuous operation of the remainder of services and surrounding support spaces during construction. Estimated construction cost is $3,000,000. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
