Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bellvue, Colorado. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for the construction of a service station / car wash facility.
As of November 29 2022, this project is in the design stage as per source. A construction manager has been selected. Construction can be anticipated to begin in Spring of 2023*. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- Larimer County Fleet Services’ main operations facility is located at 614 East Vine Drive, Fort Collins CO. The facilities at this campus are aged and no longer adequately support the many needs of Fleet Services and the other departments that operate there. In April 2018, Larimer County adopted its Facilities Master Plan (Exhibit A - Facilities Master Plan). This document provides a 20-year “roadmap” and living document for future facility needs and decisions. The County has acquired a 30-acre parcel in the Airpark North development in Loveland, located at East County Road 30 and the future Rickenbacker Road, for a new Fleet Campus. Rickenbacker Road will connect East County Road 30 and Rockwell Avenue (Exhibit B - Airpark North Plat). The Fleet Campus project will be developed in multiple phases to meet the short and long-term needs of Larimer County Fleet Services and associated departments. The Facilities Master Plan was amended by the Facilities Master Plan Addendum from February 2020 (Exhibit C - Facilities Master Plan Addendum). This Addendum focuses on developing and constructing this first phase of the new Fleet Campus as a replacement for the Vine Drive campus, which will support the Fleet Services and Road & Bridge Departments’ field operations. Late in 2020, the Board of County Commissioners reconfirmed a $17 million total project budget to design and construct the new Fleet Campus and to master plan the 30-acre site. This budget is inclusive of all design and entitlement fees; construction of structures, development, and permit fees; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; light-duty and heavy-duty service equipment, service tech stations, workbenches, and small tools; site development and site improvements, contingency, and all associated costs. The development and construction of Rickenbacker Road is being provided by the Airpark North land developer.
