The Project Site encompasses approximately 380 linear feet of the North Nashua River right riverbank, in the eastern section of the City of Leominster, Massachusetts. The Work will occur within and adjacent to North Nashua River between the WWTF and Nashua Street in the vicinity of the Leominster Connector, in Leominster, MA. The approximate map location of the North Nashua River Site (centroid of work area) is as follows: Latitude: 42 3117.93 N Longitude: 71 44 7.79 W. The North Nashua River can be accessed via two staging areas, one off of the Leominster Connector and one on the northeast side of the WWTF. The Work of this Contract is to restore a reach of the North Nashua River riverbank between the Leominster Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) and Nashua Street, in the vicinity of the Leominster Connector, in Leominster, MA. The work will entail clearing, grubbing, and stripping; control and diversion of water during the work; earthwork; stone, rock, and riprap; restoration of riprapped slopes, wetland and upland plantings; loaming, seeding, and revegetation, and general restoration of disturbed areas. The Contractor is referred to the Contract Drawings, which, along with the Contract Documentation, define the required Work. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept proposals in the best interest of the City.
