Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870, relative to Prevailing Wage Rates. The Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) wage rates and requirements set forth in the following BOLI booklet (and any listed amendments to that booklet), which are incorporated herein by reference, apply to the Work authorized under this Agreement: Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, January 1, 2022, which can be downloaded electronically. Clackamas County encourages bids from Minority, Women, and Emerging Small Businesses. Contractor to perform all work necessary to install a well capable of producing approximately 80 gallons per minute ("gpm") in accordance with the State of Oregon Well Construction Standards, connection and testing of the well and control systems, and site cleanup as identified in the following: The well shall be drilled, cased and sealed down through the Troutdale aquifer, and into the basalt aquifer to avoid hydraulic connection with the Clackamas River, in order to be eligible for a water rights within 1/4 mile of the river. The well shall be constructed to develop water from a single basalt aquifer, and have no more than 100 feet of open interval in the basalt. New Well: 1) Acquire OWRD Start Card 2) Contractor will be responsible for staging and securing work site while on the property. 3) Drill well with minimum 8" casing, to proper depth to get acceptable flow of water from the basalt aquifer, assuming similar conditions as described in the nearby Barton West well (CLAC 70813), and aquifer encountered has sufficient capacity and acceptable water quality. 4) Construct and install well to meet potable drinking water standards. 5) Drill, construct, case, and seal well into the basalt aquifer in accordance with OAR 690- 210-0150 to ensure hydraulic separation necessary for pursuing water right (which County is pursuing separately from this Scope of Work). 6) Install minimum of a 15 HP pump, capable of pumping 80+ gpm. 7) Install proper wellhead with pit-less adapter and locking wellhead cap. 8) Stub out an additional water line with backflow prevention device for future connection to service Day-Use water system ) Install all necessary accessories and controls to create an operable water system, including properly sized pressure tank(s), pipe, valves, and wiring, in existing pump house. 10) Connect new system to existing booster pump and water lines running up to the East Campground. 11) Ensure control systems function for both future Day-Use system and existing East Campground Irrigation system. 12) Test well and file proper paperwork to record the new well. 13) Contractor will provide a minimum of one (1) year warranty on workmanship and materials. It is understood at all prospective bidders will do due diligence and proper site visitation on their own. All technical questions should be sent to TWhitley@clackamas.us
