The work includes, but is not limited to all labor, equipment and materials for the construction of an MCC building and foundation; generator and generator pad; chemical system building and foundation; one (1) blower pad; modifications to the existing lift station; an elevated concrete headworks; a peak shaving basin; one (1) rapid mixing basin; two (2) aeration basins; two (2) clarifier loading basins; two (2) clarifiers; two (2) clarifier effluent basins; two (2) return activated sludge pits, two (2) waste activated sludge activated sludge pits; two (2) scum pits; two (2) tertiary filter basins; two (2) chlorine contact basins; non-potable water pump station; a sludge holding tank; associated plant piping, valves, fittings, thrust blocks and pipe supports; manholes and inlets; site grading and drainage; protective coatings; hydro-mulch seeding; and all required electrical and instrumentation work; including all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a complete and operational system. The bidder shall submit either a certified or cashier's check in the amount of at least two percent (2%) of the maximum total bid amount or a bid bond in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the maximum total bid amount. The cashier's check or bid bond must be payable to the Owner.
