As of May 10, 2021 the awarded contractor was Riley Bros. Construction Inc. in the amount of $2,099,609.54. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Major quantities of work Include: Common Excavation: 7,000 CY Gravel Base: 3,950 TON Select Granular: 6,450 TON Bituminous Mixture: 2,300 TON Curb and Gutter: 5,025 LF Watermain: 2,692 LF Sanitary Sewer: 4,405 LF Storm Sewer: 3,125 LF A cash deposit, bidder's bond, cashier's or certified check in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each proposal made payable to the City of Willmar, Minnesota, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract. The City of Willmar reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the inters of the City of Willmar.
