A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This project consists of providing and installing a single private sewer service lateral in accordance with OWASA specifications and all applicable Town building and plumbing codes. The work also includes a mandatory preliminary site investigation (to be conducted prior to submittal of your bid) and post-construction site restoration to pre-construction conditions (e.g. restoration of gravel or pavement sidewalks/driveways (if needed), regrading, raking, seeding/re-sodding, etc.). Based on available record drawings, the existing sewer service stub-outs to which the private sewer service laterals will be connected range from approximately 4-ft deep to approximately 16-ft deep. Provider shall apply for and secure all applicable plumbing and/or code-specific permits from the Town of Chapel Hill or the Town of Carrboro Permits and Inspections Divisions, depending on the jurisdictional area in which the work is being performed, prior to starting work.
