**As of April 14, 2021, this project has been awarded to Heartland Asphalt Inc in the amount of $55,603.76. For Recreational Trail Site 4 The extent of the work involved is the furnishing of labor and new materials for the construction of a new HMA Recreational Trail, including but not limited to, 4 in. HMA Pavement, Special Backfill, Excavation, Embankment-In-Place, Topsoiling, Removal of Pavement, 6 in. PCC Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter, Safety Closure, Traffic Control, Slope Protection, Mulching, Seeding & Fertilizing, Perimeter Slope Sediment Devices, in accordance with the contract documents. At 7 P.M. on the 13th day of April 2021, the City Council of said City will, in said Council Chambers, hold a hearing and said Council proposes to adopt plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost. Project is located in Nora Springs, IA. Construction of HMA Pavement, special backfill, PCC sidewalk, and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup. The Contractor shall commence work after the Notice to Proceed is issued and shall be completed on or before July 2, 2021. However, once Contractor begins work on the project, work shall progress in a continuous manner and shall be completed within 20 working days or less.
