NOTICE TO BIDDERS Request for Proposal for: REPAIR WOOD RAFTERS AND REPLACE METAL ROOF ON MCMURRY PARK QUAD RESTROOM BUILDING LOCATED AT: 300 S HAZEL ST., SULPHUR, LOUISIANA For Sulphur Parks and Recreation, 933 West Parish Road, Sulphur, LA 70663, will be received until: 10:00 AM APRIL 1, 2021 at which time proposals will be opened and read aloud, in an open and public session to be conducted by the S.P.A.R. staff in a meeting room at the SPAR Recreation and Aquatic Center. The Board of Commissioners shall, at a regular meeting and/or special called meeting, at a later date proceeds to award the proposal to the lowest proposer, to waive irregularities, or to reject any and all proposals, or otherwise proceed thereto as provided by law. Said proposals to be in accordance with the quantities and/or specifications on file with the staff of Sulphur Parks and recreation. The Sulphur Parks & Recreation District is seeking proposals and price for Repair and Replacement of Metal Roof on McMurry Park Quad Restroom Building. The project consists of the removal, disposal, and replacement of the existing wood rafters with new. The removal, disposal, and replacement of existing sheet metal, with 26-gauge R-Panel style roof, trim, and end walls. The color of all metal should match the color of surrounding buildings (or as close as possible), per SPAR approval. Site protection is required for the safety of the public. The contractor is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required city and/or parish work permits. All work is to be scheduled with SPAR and must be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the purchase order. Site pictures (EXHIBIT A) have been attached for reference
