The Town Engineering Department is seeking bids for Reconstruction of Concrete Curbing at Various Locations. The work, as proposed by the Engineering Department and covered under this bid shall generally consist of replacement of existing concrete curbing with pre-cast concrete curb where it is damaged along Town roadways. Additionally, this work may include installation of new concrete curbing in areas where no curbing exists. Permanent roadway repairs associated with curbing work and topsoil/turf establishment are required. Depending on existing site conditions, brick sidewalk repair in the downtown area and bituminous concrete driveway repair incidental to the curbing work may also be required. There may be multiple Work Authorizations comprised of multiple locations within the Town of Wallingford issued under this contract. An estimate of 1,035 linear feet of curbing reconstruction in ten locations and approximately 200 feet of new curbing in one location is expected, but not guaranteed. Additional locations may be added as needed.
