New construction of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and 24,000-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.
For the construction of a new fabrication and maintenance facility for out tenant, that will be relocating to Pier 15 in the Port of Hamilton. The construction of this new facility will, including the following work: - Demolition of existing underground structures only as required to construct new building, surfaces and utilities - Site works (excavation, grading, paving, site lighting, landscaping, fencing and security amenities) - Utility construction (domestic and fire watermain, electrical, gas, sanitary, and storm sewers) - Foundation and floor construction, including pile driving, pile caps, foundation walls, and reinforced concrete floors - Supply and installation of an +/- 24,000 sq ft pre-engineered steel building (approx 280' long x 85' wide), including structural steel, cladding, insultation, and crane rails - Man-doors, overhead doors, dock levelers, and windows - Provide interior +/- 4,000 sq ft office, including washrooms kitchen, and lunch room areas - Overhead cranes - Mechanical HVAC - Electrical, such as new electrical service and transformer, panels, LED lighting, Fire and Life Safety.
