The City of Danielsville is extending its RFP from engineers to assist with federal and state financed projects. Firms must be qualified to provide consultation, a preliminary engineering report, various cost alternatives, final design, construction administration, inspection and closeout services for a FY 2021 wastewater/sanitary sewer Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. Firms must be willing to assist with household interviews and providing two sources of documentation for each identified need. Firms who submitted proposals by 02/15/21 are not required to resubmit. The city will contract with a reputable firm over the next 36 months. Annual updated SOQs during this period. This solicitation covers CDBG, all set-asides, Economic Development Administration (EDA), EPA/GEFA, USDA, Federal Highway Administration & others per 2 CFR 200 & The Brooks Act (Public Law 92-582). Evaluation criteria includes: history/mission; community familiarity; key personnel/qualifications; approach, ability, scope/ service levels; federal experience, cost control/references; current workload; past & current litigation, claims, liens, judgments & rulings; errors & omissions; and Section 3. Projects are subject to Federal & State contract provisions, including Section 3, HUD Act 1968, as amended. Section 3, MBEs, DBEs and WBEs are encouraged to apply.
