Municipal and Public Works Construction An acceptable Bid Bond in the format as enclosed herein, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check payable to the City of Shreveport, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid including all additive alternates must accompany the bid. Acceptable Performance/Payment/Maintenance Bonds will be required of the successful bidder as follows: 5.2 When the total contract amount with alternates is $50,000 or more, a 100% performance bond shall be required. 5.3 When the total contract amount with alternates is $25,000 or more, a 50% payment bond shall be required. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause received as a result of this request as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214 (B).
