Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hinsdale, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
**As of May 17, 2021, this project has been awarded to Oak Brook Mechanical with a total amount of $128,750.00. The Village of Hinsdale will receive bids for the construction of replacement hot water boilers in the basement mechanical room. The Work will include: mechanical, electrical, and minor asbestos BID SECURITY: A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: The Village of Hinsdale reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Village, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Village. GOVERNING LAWS AND REGULATIONS: Prevailing wage rates will apply and must be included in the Bid amount. a. The Project consists of the replacement of an existing cast iron boiler located in a basement mechanical room with new high efficiency condensing boilers. b. Contractor shall be certified with Illinois Commerce commission (ICC) as an energy efficiency installer to allow Village of Hinsdale to receive Nicor incentives/rebates.
