Safety improvements will include: guardrail improvements; addition of a roadside flashing beacon and ITS maintenance pads, ITS and drainage improvements, removal of median openings, signing and pavement markings, replacement of overhead sign structures along the mainline; lighting, landscape and irrigation modifications and improvements, and bridge deck expansion joints; updating cross slopes to meet criteria.
