Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Final questions to be submitted by May 17, 2022 to Brian Mundy, P.E. - bmundy@b-l-n.com and copy EWSU Project Manager, Matt Montgomery mmontgomery@ewsu.com. Division 1 - Storm Sewer Collection System: Div. 1 includes installation of a new storm water collection system to separate the storm water from the combined sanitary sewer within the project area. Work is divided into nine segments labeled "STD" through "ST-I" in alphabetical order and includes installation of approximately 4,411 LF of 12" to 36" storm sewers, 29 - 48" to 72" manholes, storm inlets, pavement repair, traffic signal repair, erosion control, restoration and all other work as required by the bid documents. Division 2 - Subsurface Detention Basin: Div. 2 includes construction of an approximately 1.00 MG subsurface storm water detention basin at the site of the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Work includes excavation, geotextile, HDPE storage chambers, debris/sediment screen structures, observation/entrance manholes, outlet control structures, erosion control, restoration and all other work as required by the bid documents. Divisions 1, 2, and 4 will be awarded as one single contract through EWSU in various segment combinations dependent on funding availability. Additional information regarding the award format will be discussed during the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
