Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of April 8 the project was awarded to Fowler & Hammer Inc for $48,291.20. Multiple small project areas citywide, with various concrete sidewalk, pavement, and/or curb & gutter replacement; and * Other appurtenant items of removal, replacement, and restoration. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be filed in the office of the Director of Finance, City of La Crosse, no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday one week prior to bid, showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. The BPW decision regarding qualification shall be final.
