Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 4,053-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Project Scope of Work o Prepare a non-traditional work plan for the abatement of remaining ACM, and obtain plan approval from MassDEP. o Obtain all permits for abatement activities. o Remove all siding material/supports to expose the southern exterior masonry wall face. Complete the abatement of remaining ACM on the southern exterior masonry wall face (assume up to 750 square feet of black glue daubs). Provide visual and air clearance documentation to SRA. o Proper off-site disposal of the two existing demolition debris piles (assumed ACM) and remaining ACM. o Provide ACM shipping/disposal documentation to SRA. o Obtain a building demolition permit from the Town of Weymouth. o Complete the demolition of the structure down to the existing slab grade, leaving the existing concrete slab in place. o Transport all demo debris off-site. Provide shipping and disposal documentation to SRA. o Backfill one small steam pipe/valve pit to slab elevation with crushed stone. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
