Project Locations:Chicago Park District park locations determined by Capital Construction Department. 2. Owner: Chicago Park District 4830 S. Western Ave Chicago, IL 60609 B. Scope of Work: The scope of the work includes but is not limited to the following 1. Demolition and/or removal of: a. Portion of existing concrete steps and ramps. Including handrails. b. Existing metal stair at pool to be demolished and reconfigured. c. Selection of existing restrooms and on the first floor for reconfiguration. 2. Furnish and install: a. New portion of concrete ramps and stairs. b. New Pre-Cast Block Walls. c. New exterior and interior doors with associated hardware for accessibility compliance. d. New water fountains at pool deck and interior hall. e. New trash enclosure. f. New interior wall mounted accessories and cane-detection barriers. g. New reconfiguration and fixtures for toilet rooms. h. New lighting in dressing areas. i. New signage and directional signage in associated areas. j. New sod and topsoil as required by construction activities related to this contract. 3. Repair of: a. East and West concrete entry stairs. b. Repair windows at select locations. c. Concrete facade repairs. d. Cross slope of interior corridor ramp. e. Modify wood counter with transaction countertop. 4. Contractor shall also propose various alternative fencing and "Green" Products for consideration, such as vinyl fencing products manufactured by Blackline Fencing (BL 78 and/or equivalent). The Cornell Square Fieldhouse Renovations ADA upgrades throughout the facility, exterior ramp and stairway repairs, pool locker room upgrades, and All Gender washroom upgrades.
