**As of May 17, 2021, the project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed and also the construction start date and completion date.** The work under this contract will consist of pavement mill and overlay with full depth box widening, new granite curb and cement concrete sidewalk and shared use path construction, installation of a new sewer system, a new closed drainage system with detention basins, and the reconstruction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Lake Street and Route 20. Other work will include utility adjustments, improved roadway signage, guardrail, dumped riprap slope, and pavement delineation/striping for vehicles traveling through the Route 20 corridor. The total roadway length included in the Contract is approximately 3,300 linear feet (0.63 miles). Bidders and sub-contractors must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) in the class of work being performed. The proposed project will consist of pavement mill and overlay with full depth box widening, new granite curb and cement concrete sidewalk and shared use path construction, upgradesto the closed drainage and sewer systems, and the reconstruction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Lake Street and Route 20. Other work will include utility adjustments, improved roadway signage, guardrail, dumped riprap slope, and pavement delineation/striping for vehicles traveling through the Route 20 corridor. The project limits along Route 20 are 830 feet west of the intersection of Lake Street to 350 feet east of the intersection with Purinton Street. The project length is approximately 3,000 linear feet (0.568 miles).
