Renovation of a water / sewer project in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The WCPOWSS' water treatment plant (WTP) had an expansion five years ago from an old water treatment plant that was built almost 30 years ago. Recently, there have been air quality concerns including ventilation issues between the WTP expansion and old water treatment plant. The scope of work for the Contract for the project includes but is not limited to the following: Supply, installation and commissioning of the following: A new exterior heat recovery ventilation system (HRV) complete with gas-fired duct heater, ductwork, controls, electrical, etc to provide ventilation to the existing water treatment plant Installation of a vent to exterior from the original below grade water cistern.; Relocation of an existing gas-fired furnace. Demolition and disposal of unwanted ducts and other related duct fittings The expectation is the construction shall start in mid-spring 2021, substantially complete and ready for commissioning by late summer 2021.
