Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from consulting engineering firms for the design, permitting and bidding services for a new 2,500 LF 12-inch water main that will complete a connection between a 12-inch water main at Arnold Drive and an existing 8-inch water main on Ulloa Place. The project will generally consist of developing contract drawings and technical specifications, obtaining necessary permits and encroachments, assisting in the bidding process. The construction administration and observation-based services may be awarded at a later date. CFPUA will address questions regarding the RFQ until 3:00 PM on March 25, 2021. Questions submitted after this time will not addressed. Questions concerning this advertisement should be directed to Julia Faircloth, Procurement Manager, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, at bids@cfpua.org. The selected firms will be notified by telephone and/or email. The CFPUA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. As of March 23, 2021, the project is currently under evaluation stage. An issuance of draft request for proposal to short-listed firms has not been disclosed. The design firm selection timeline has not been released.
