Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: The construction includes approximately 2,759 SY of concrete paving, 35 SY of concrete sidewalk, 249 SY of concrete driveway, 32 SY of granular driveway, 398 LF of storm sewer, 1,414 LF of subdrain, drainage structures, manhole adjustments, grading, seeding, survey, traffic control, erosion control, chain link fence, and other associated work. The City Council of West Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of said improvements at 5:35 p.m. on April 19, 2021 in the Council Chambers, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements Work on said project shall commence within ten (10) days of the written notice to proceed and shall be completed by September 30, 2021.
