Larson, Purchasing Agent elarson@stamfordct.gov This Bid Specification was prepared to solicit sealed bids on behalf of the City of Stamford Engineering Bureau from qualified responsible contractors to provide for the materials and their installation for restrooms renovation at Davenport Ridge Elementary School. The building has gang restrooms for girls and boys, adult single use restrooms in the hallways, private Principal's Office restroom, single use Nurse's Office restroom, private PE Office restroom and shower, single use restrooms in the Kindergarten classrooms, and single use restrooms for the custodial and kitchen staff restrooms. The restrooms renovation will upgrade all restrooms to current ADA requirements, update the interiors with the new fixtures and finishes, repair/install HVAC system, update lighting, procure all of the materials and their installation and as further stipulated in the specifications appended hereto. The terms "bidder" and "contractor" are used interchangeably in this document. The scope of work is further delineated in the attached specifications and drawings provided for this project. the requirements of the 1996 Stamford Construction Jobs Agreement that contractors make every effort to employ qualified residents of Stamford at a targeted goal of twenty nine percent (29%) of the project's workforce, when available, which shall include a goal of that targeted percentage of one third (1/3) minorities and/or women;
