Renovation of a mixed-use development in Dunwoody, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

Georgia State University (GSU, "Using Agency"), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing General Contractor ("GC") services for the project known as Project No. PC00-107-20, Clarkston CL and Dunwoody NC Auditorium Upgrades at the GSU Dunwoody and GSU Clarkston Campuses at Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services. Firms determined by the Owner to be the most qualified for this project, will be invited to offer Competitive Sealed Bids for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and additional terms and conditions listed in the Owner's Request for Qualifications / Request for Competitive Sealed Bids (RFQ/RFP). Georgia State University plans to upgrade both auditoriums in the Dunwoody NC building and in the Clarkston CL building, which are located at 2101 Womack Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, and 555 N. Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA 30021, respectively. These spaces will be similar in function and finishes to other previously upgraded auditoriums within the Georgia State University system. The auditorium renovations will include new seating and lecterns, new finishes, A/V, acoustical installations, lighting, and HVAC work (lighting and HVAC will be performed as an alternate scope of work). This work is scheduled to occur over the summer and a portion of the fall semesters of 2021. Construction of this phase could overlap with on-going work of other projects on campus, as well as ongoing classes within the same building. Coordination with class schedules within the building and the scope of work may be required. Deadline to submit Competitive Sealed Bids (tentative) 5/27/2021 2:00 PM The firm Croft & Associates PC is currently developing construction documents for the project, which should be complete and available for distribution to eligible firms by April 28, 2021. It is anticipated that construction will begin in June 2021 and be completed by October 31, 2021. (All of the dates above are estimates which are subject to change.)
