As of April 19, 2021 the project has not yet awarded, they will do re-bid but no time frame at this time. Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of 5 percent of the Bidder s maximum Bid Price. The Project consists of constructing a new wastewater treatment facility, comprised of a new submersible wastewater pumping station, process tanks in series and parallel, Site development, effluent discharge, electrical and communications, furnishing and installing pre-selected treatment system and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 150 days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment 210 days from the commencement of Contract Time. The Project is being bid and the resulting Contract is subject to the laws of the State of Illinois. All Contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Project is financed in part by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Utilities Service (RUS), administered through the USDA Rural Development (RD) office (or Agency ) pursuant to the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 USC Section 1921 et seq). Compliance with Agency requirements and Federal requirements is required. Concurrence by Agency in the award of the Contract is required before the Contract is effective. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this Project. All listed iron and steel products used in this Project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The deminimis and minor components waiver apply to this Project. Bidders must take all necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible.
