The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: Demolition and removal of 130 existing 24 CMP Pipe storm drain pipe system. Install new 24 HDPE pipes and tie-in to existing structures including stone bedding and backfill up to spring elevation with # 57 stone. Installation of new YARD INLET. Slip line existing 24 CMP from existing JB to proposed NEW JB with 18 HDPE pipe OR Rehabilitation by CIPP methods of approximately 40 LF of 24 CMP storm pipe as shown on the drawings by the installation of a TRENCHLESS PIPELINING of +- 40 by either: Fold-and-formed lining (a thermoformed method). CIPP methods (cured-in-place pipelining) (No spin-cast) Installation of new 24" Pre-cast Headwalls with Rip-Rap Installation of sod/mulch including erosion control. Install complete fencing and cleanup re-grout structures. The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation shall govern the construction of this project. Construction to be limited to areas indicated on the drawing and as designated by the Engineer or inside existing easements. Off-site areas or areas outside the easements shall only be encroached by written permission or a signed Right-of-way entry from the property owner. This provision applies to both personnel and equipment. All areas disturbed or damaged by the contractor outside the construction easement shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expense. No Bid Bond is required. Successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-5 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificate of Authority and acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia.
