Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Salmo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from qualified companies to provide Construction Services for an Organics Composting Facility at the Central Landfill. The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced contractors to complete works associated with the construction of a Compost Facility at the Central Landfill. The RDCK is open to reviewing proposals that utilize alternate construction methods and/or schedules and which fit within the framework of the project scope and intent, and meet all required Codes, Acts and Regulations. The Central Landfill is located at 550 Emerald Road Salmo, BC. This closed landfill operates as a residential drop-off transfer station. Primary components of the facility include a covered receiving building on concrete foundation, asphalt working pad, blowers and aeration pipes, feedstock mixer, lighting and electrical supply, surface water management and pond.
