Renovation of an educational facility in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.

The intention for this project is for the successful Contractor to work Night Shifts during the 2021 Spring school year (with thorough cleaning after each night shift); and to work continuously throughout the 2021 Summer months, including day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends in order to have these Renovations totally complete by August 24th, 2021. The site will be available for construction on a full-time basis starting July 2nd, 2021, at which time Contractors will have full (24hr) access until the 24th of August, 2021; prior to the commencement of the 2021 school year scheduled for September 2nd, 2021. Areas of exception are the Main Entrance & Office, which may require access by the Staff and Public a few weeks prior to the start of school. 1) Construct a temporary accessible poly wall (dust tight) at the east end of the South Wing, to permit demolition of this wing during Day Shifts and Night Shifts. 2) Construct a temporary accessible poly wall (dust tight) at the future Infant Activity Room (#201) doorway, to permit demolition of this area during Day Shifts and Night Shifts. 3) Simultaneously, construct a temporary poly wall (dust tight) around the future Administrative Office area (#103, #105, & #107), to permit 'Night Shift' work for the demolition & construction of the new Offices, but still permitting access to main washrooms and the East exit door. 4) Once the new Administration Offices are constructed, contractor is to build a poly separation wall (dust tight) across the north-south main Corridor (#400), just south fo the NW gym doors. This will enable the entire South Wing can become a construction zone permitting most types of construction to occur during Day Shifts. Excessively loud or disruptive work may have to be delayed until after school hours, during any Day Shift work in this south wing. At no time, shall any work negatively affect or disrupt normal day-to-day operations of the School, or the safety of it's occupants.
